HISTORY AND MISSION
Guardian School Security Systems takes immense pride in its unwavering commitment to safety. Positioned under the umbrella of our esteemed parent company, TLC Millimeter Wave Products, Inc., and leveraging its 30 years of expertise in developing and deploying cutting-edge millimeter wave early threat detection solutions, as well as ultra-high-speed communication systems for entities like the United States Department of Defense, U.S. Allies, and NASA, Guardian School Security Systems has successfully engineered a solution capable of comprehensively securing an entire school campus.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
Dr. Timothy Childs, Founder, Innovator, and Chief Technology Officer, is a global leader in physics who has developed proprietary concepts and methodologies in Millimeter Wave Technology (MMW) for over 30 years. His patented solutions are used to solve military, aerospace, security, and other national challenges. Guardian’s school security systems leverage these technologies to help innovate threat detection in school security.
Dr. Childs' philanthropic work includes supporting Twin Cities Communities and TLC Education foundation. With a small grant from Hennepin County, the Foundation sustained a college-preparation and tutoring program at four different sites for over a year. The Foundation also partnered with the Saint Paul Public Schools and the Saint Paul Minister Alliance with assistance from Saint Paul Mayor Chris Coleman to have after-school and weekend tutor hubs to help youth prepare for the MCA2 testing.
